A man in Tamil Nadu, India, is accused of killing his wife because she spent too much time creating reels for social media.
Amirthalingam, 38, choked his wife to death with her scarf on Sunday evening. He beat his wife and is accused of murdering her after becoming enraged by her social media highlights.
The suspect, who hails from Dindugal, was taken into custody in the Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu.While his wife, Chithra, worked in a clothing factory, Amirthalingam was a daily wage labourer at the neighbourhood vegetable market.
