In a deeply disturbing case that has resonated throughout India, authorities have charged a 33-year-old man named Sanjoy Roy with the rape and murder of a 31-year-old doctor in Kolkata. The doctor, a trainee post-graduate, was found brutally murdered at a government hospital, prompting an immediate and fierce response from both the medical community and the public.
