Inayatullah, a Pakistani wrestler, advances to the CWG 2022 quarterfinals

Pakistani wrestler Inayatullah advanced to the quarterfinals of the Men’s Freestyle 65kg wrestling competition at the Commonwealth Games after eliminating Malta’s Adam Vella in just three minutes.
Inayat dominated his opponent, imitating the champion wrestler Inam Butt. Inayat has crowned the victor after scoring 10 straight technical points. Vella remained defenseless and was unable to gain any ground. Inayat will compete against Nigerian Amas Daniel later on in the day. In the Men’s Freestyle 86kg wrestling event, Pakistan’s Inam will face off against Scotland’s Kieran Malone. In the Men’s Freestyle 125kg wrestling competition, Pakistan’s Zaman Khan will face Kensley Anthony of Mauritius in the quarterfinals straight away.
