In Karachi. On Saturday, gold prices increased in Pakistan in line with the increasing trend in the global market.
According to data provided by the Sarafa Association, the price of yellow metal increased by Rs. 800 per tola and by Rs. 500 for every 10 grammes.
With the most recent price hike, one tola of gold is now worth Rs215,800, and ten grammes are now worth Rs185,000.
After a slight increase, the price of yellow metal per ounce was roughly $1,945 globally.
In Pakistan, the price of gold remained unstable due to ongoing political unrest, economic instability, and high inflation. As a secure investment, individuals chose to purchase bullion during these times. Prices even reached record levels, but when hoarders were being targeted, the market fell.
