With “the umpires” siding with the government, PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday cautioned his party’s members and supporters to be vigilant of cheating during the impending by-elections in Punjab.
At a protest against inflation, political unrest, excessive load-shedding, and ongoing gasoline price increases, Imran voiced his worries in front of party members in the public at Islamabad’s Parade Ground.

Imran, who frequently refers to the administration as “imported” and maintains that it was overthrown by the US through a “conspiracy,” added, “No matter what strategy they employ… whether they rig the poll or deploy the police, the populace would never accept them.”
Last Saturday, he had announced the event, saying that it would be staged for the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, while residents of other large cities will have their own local protests.
