The Pakistan Army “strongly criticised” the incident that resulted in Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI and a former prime minister of Pakistan, being shot during his long march.Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the military expressed genuine prayers for the lost lives as well as for Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and all those hurt in this tragic occurrence.
Politicians and government officials have denounced the act in the “strongest words,” including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, PPP Co-Chairman Asif Zardari, and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, among others.
Gunshots were fired at Khan at around 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, causing chaotic scenes to erupt close to the PTI’s welcoming camp at Allahwala Chowk in Gujranwala.According to the police, the guy who fired on Khan’s container has been detained. He got bullet wounds to his leg.
