Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi expressed happiness to be back in action in Australia.Speaking with the International Cricket Council on Monday, Afridi stated, “Feeling amazing to be back on the field after two months.”
The bowler made his highly anticipated return to the team when he travelled to Australia to compete in the massive T20 World Cup. Afridi underwent a demanding rehabilitation programme while spending weeks in England getting treatment for a ligament injury to his right knee that occurred in the first Test match against Sri Lanka in July.He is also a member of the group that will face England today in a pre-tournament match.
