Voting from space has been made possible through NASA’s Space Communication and Navigation (SCaN) programme, enabling astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) to participate in general elections. This innovative process allows NASA astronauts to cast their votes via absentee ballots or early voting, coordinated with the county clerk’s office at their residential location.
