ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar received the outgoing Dutch Ambassador to Pakistan Wouter Plomp for a farewell call on Wednesday. According to a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, during the meeting Hina Rabbani Khar MOS noted the positive trajectory in Pakistan Netherlands relations.
She expressed gratitude for the Ambassador’s significant contributions and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further developing bilateral ties in a variety of areas for the benefit of both countries.
Wouter Plomp, meanwhile, said in a statement shared on Twitter that he had a great conversation with Minister Hina Rabbani Khar about further enhancing relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands. We have a long history of close economic cooperation, horticulture, and an even brighter future, he added. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs will commemorate 75 years of diplomatic relations next year.
