LAHORE: Governor of Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman officially opened the Akhuwat College University Kasur reading room today. Dr. Amjad Saqib, the executive director of Akhuwat, Dr. Sohail Chaghtai, and members of the board of directors of Akhuwat were also present on this occasion. Governor Punjab spoke to the students while touring various Akhuwat University College Kasur buildings.
Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman stated that the Akuwat model is a fantastic example of social activity during his speech on this occasion. According to him, it is laudable to establish a school where disadvantaged students are not only exempt from paying tuition but also receive free housing. He claimed that this university has students from every province in the nation, which is a positive development. He asserted that in today’s contemporary education, digital literacy is crucial. He claimed that books are now accessible on computers in digital form thanks to technology.
On this occasion, the Governor of Punjab was pleased to see the online books available in the library. He further said that the society in which people cooperate with each other in the welfare work always flourishes.
Addressing the students, Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman said that the purpose of education is to develop high moral values in your character. While addressing the students, he said that you should distinguish between right and wrong in life. Governor Punjab said that the path of truth and righteousness is difficult but there is eternal truth in it.
