Gold Updates Clarity regarding the position of monetary policy helped gold rise, recovering some of the lost territory after decreasing losses in two sessions. According to information supplied by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of yellow metal increased by Rs1,750 per tola and Rs1,458 per 10 kilos to settle at Rs144,850 and Rs124,143, respectively. Over the previous two sessions, the pricey commodity had dropped by almost Rs1,950 per tola. During the week that concluded on October 8, it lost Rs2,700, or 1.84% per tola, in the meantime. Investors were given some hope when the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) chose to maintain the monetary policy rate at 15%.
