Glen Powell, the talented actor starring in the highly anticipated film Twisters, recently shared a hilarious and relatable story about his beloved dog Brisket, who has become an integral part of his life and career. In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Powell revealed that he brings Brisket with him everywhere, and the pup has even become a familiar face on set. While filming Twisters, the entire crew, including co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones, pitched in to help care for Brisket, making him an honorary member of the team.
However, Powell fondly recalled one particular experience that stood out as a memorable misstep – taking Brisket on the Universal Backlot tour. What was meant to be a fun adventure for the pup turned into a “nightmare” for Brisket, with the tour featuring fire, sharks, and the intense Fast & Furious ride. Powell humorously described the scene, saying, “Daisy Edgar-Jones and I were co-parenting, she’s next to me, and we were just covering Brisket’s eyes, whispering…I was like, ‘That was the worst dad move ever.’ I almost gave him a heart attack!”
The experience was so traumatic for Brisket that Powell jokingly claimed, “Brisket doesn’t like Vin Diesel” due to the pup’s fear of the Fast & Furious ride. Despite the mishap, Powell’s love and dedication to Brisket shine through, and their bond is undeniable. The story serves as a reminder that even our furry friends can have a sense of adventure and sometimes require a little extra care and consideration.
