It appears that Samsung is taking a very long time to officially announce the Galaxy S23 FE. Since months, there have been a ton of leaks about this phone, and they have been worse recently. Perhaps this indicates that the announcement is finally imminent.
Anyway, the S23 FE is once again in the news today as a result of its discovery in the Google Play Console. As usual, such a listing includes the device’s picture and some specifications. Let’s look at it.
Galaxy S23 FE from Samsung Exynos and Snapdragon variants are confirmed by a Google Play Console listing
Thus, the design has been verified for the nth time. Coming from Samsung, it wouldn’t be shocking even if this was the first time we had seen it. It closely resembles the company’s current design aesthetic.
The Google Play Console listing for the S23 FE also confirms that there are two variants of the device; one uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the other Samsung’s Exynos 2200 chipset.
The S23 FE currently listed on the Google Play Console as having 8GB of RAM, but whenever it launches, there may be more possibilities. It sports an FHD+ resolution screen and runs Android 13.
Previous speculations and leaks have suggested that the screen will measure 6.4″ and have a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will, of course, be an AMOLED. In addition to 256GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 12 MP telephoto, a 10 MP selfie camera, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25W charging, the phone will also come with these additional features.
