ISLAMABAD: According to a statement from the Finance Division, the Pakistani government on Sunday announced a reduction in the price of gasoline of Rs3.05 per litre for the first half of August 2022.
Fuel will now be sold for Rs227.19 per litre as a result of the pricing revisions. Previously, the price of gasoline in the nation per litre was Rs230.34.High-speed diesel now costs Rs8.95 more per litre, for a total of Rs244.95 a litre.
This increase was made in the interim.Kerosene oil, on the other hand, would now cost Rs201.07 per litre after a rise of Rs4.62 from the previous price of Rs196.45 per litre.
After recording a small decrease of Rs0.12, light diesel oil will now be sold for Rs191.32 per litre as opposed to the previous price of Rs191.44 per litre.The notification states that the modifications were made in response to a drop in the price of petroleum products on the world market.
