ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari lamented the tragedy that occurred the day before Halloween celebrations in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, on Sunday.Emergency officials reported that a stampede in Seoul’s nightlife district that resulted from a large gathering of people enjoying Halloween squeezed into an alley killed at least 153 people.
The foreign minister posted on Twitter: “The tragedy in Seoul is a shocking development. At this trying time, we are with our [South Korean] friends.”Additionally, FM Bilawal expressed his deepest thoughts and condolences to the families of the victims who died in the incident.As the tragedy on Saturday night was unfolding, he tweeted, “You are all in our thoughts and prayers.”
