While expressing his views to the journalists of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, District Officer Behbud Abadi told about the various welfare events held throughout the district and also highlighted the performance of the department. He said that our department has a relationship with journalists. Our performance and various events not only reach the public but the public is also informed about the events of the Department of Welfare and the activities of the Department of Welfare in the circle of journalists and the provision of facilities by the Department in remote areas.
She said that the journalist community is also working side by side with us in bringing the welfare program to the villages, cities, and villages.
She said that Patli Tamasha programs are being organized in Taxila, Murree, Gujarkhan, Kotli Satiyan, and Kahota districts of Rawalpindi district from September 21, in which journalists should play their role for the full participation of the public.
The Population Welfare Department of Rawalpindi is trying to educate the people about the balance of resources and population, education of girls, the proper interval between births, healthy mothers, and healthy children, and is bringing awareness to them by setting up different types of programs.
