On Sunday, the project begins at LNC of Arts. The virtual museum, which is a component of the British Council’s Pakistan-UK Season: New Perspectives programme, provides artists, scholars, and other creative practitioners with a digital platform to reconsider our common cultural heritage and aesthetic language.
The virtual museum encouraged a wide range of curators, associates, and artists to respond to and contribute to Pakistan’s rich, complex post-independence history.
The project draws on the global reality of virtual connectivity despite physical borders, giving cyberspace an excellent platform for local and international debates. Its goal is to encourage more significant sociocultural changes.
