Maryam Nawaz, vice president of the PML-N, claimed on Saturday that the PTI had assumed she would “not come out to address” the public due to the rising inflation, but she instead assured the populace that she is there for them during difficult times.
When speaking to party members in the PP-167 constituency, Maryam poked fun at Imran Khan’s claim that he wasn’t elected to know the price of fundamentals like potatoes and tomatoes. She declared, “I’m here to know the costs and to support the people.
Maryam began her address by asserting that there were more PML-N supporters from a single constituency in Green Town than there were at “fitna” Khan’s “historic gathering” on the Parade field in Islamabad.
At the same time, Khan and Maryam Nawaz spoke to their supporters in Islamabad and Lahore.
