DUBAI: The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has released the schedule for the Asia Cup 2022, which includes a match between Pakistan and India on August 28. (T20 format).
Hosts Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will square off in the opening game of the Asian tournament. The multi-nation event will be held in Sharjah and Dubai in the meantime. 2022 Asia Cup

The focus will continue to be on the eagerly anticipated match between Pakistan and India. Pakistan won their first-ever World Cup match against India in 2021 by a margin of 10 wickets.
UAE, Singapore, Kuwait, and Hong Kong will compete in the preliminary round. Later, one of the five main teams for the main event will be joined by a team from the qualifiers.
Sri Lanka was initially slated to host the Asia Cup in 2022. But later, the event was moved to the UAE because of the nation’s political and economic crisis.
