Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran, has vowed to deal “decisively” with the nationwide protests that have erupted since a lady died while being held by the Iranian morality police.
Raisi made his remarks on Saturday as protestors took to the streets for a ninth straight night, resisting a crackdown in which, according to state television, at least 41 people have been murdered. It stated that the death toll was based on its own tally and that the official data had not yet been made public.
