Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has started a five-day anti-polio vaccination campaign to stop the spread of the disease.
In the entire nation, the program hopes to reach almost 44 million children.
At the PM House, Prime Minister Kakar personally launched the project by giving youngsters oral doses of vitamin A and the anti-polio vaccine.
Dr. Nadeem Jan, the interim health minister, and other top officials witnessed this effort being made.
Prime Minister Kakar praised the 350,000 polio workers who will be actively taking part in the immunization program during the launch. Because of their unrelenting dedication to making the anti-polio effort a success, he referred to them as the nation’s heroes. The ongoing fight against polio in Pakistan has received crucial assistance from international allies, as Prime Minister Kakar recently noted.
