Farah Khan, a close friend of former first lady Bushra Bibi, received a clean bill of health from Punjab’s Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) on Wednesday in a corruption case that had been brought against her.The ACE maintained that the corruption case against Farah and her mother had been dismissed and that no additional investigation was necessary in the case involving either of them in the report submitted to the Lahore High Court (LHC).
A petition was presented to LHC Justice Faisal Zaman accusing Farah (also known as Farah Gogi) and her mother.According to the study, Farah, who was charged with exploiting her official clout to buy land, had not damaged the public purse.
As a result, the court dismissed the petition and deemed it “ineffective” non light of the ACE Punjab report.A 10-acre land in the Faisalabad Special Economic Zone that was given to a company under the name Farah and her mother’s ownership was allegedly purchased for only Rs83 million although its true value was Rs600 million. In order to purchase the plot, the firm making the purchase had to be worth Rs 2 billion.
