ISLAMABAD: More monsoon rains are expected in various parts of the nation beginning tomorrow (Wednesday), the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) warned on Tuesday.
According to a statement made by the Met Office, starting on July 20, powerful monsoon currents are predicted to reach Pakistan’s upper and central regions before spreading to the rest of the country on July 21.
More rain and thundershowers are anticipated in various locations from July 20 to July 26 due to the weather system, including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Sialkot, Lahore, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Swat, Mansehra, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, and others.
From July 21 to July 26 with sporadic gaps, more rain, wind, and thundershowers are predicted in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, DI Khan, Sahiwal, Okara, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, Khanewal, Pakpattan, Vehari, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahimyar Khan, and Khanpur, according to a statement from the PMD.
