GHOTKI: In a confrontation with bandits in the katcha area of Ghotki, Sindh, at least five cops, including a district superintendent of police (DSP) and two station head officers (SHOs), lost their lives.
Five officers, including DSP Abdul Malik Bhutto and two SHOs, allegedly accepted martyrdom during the gunfight.Dacoits, according to SSP Ghokti, possessed the newest weapons, but police operations are being conducted to catch them.
He added that the police are in good spirits and that operations against the bandits will continue. Police officers are prepared to give their life for their country just like Pakistan’s army and rangers, he added.
