KARACHI: Gold continued to lose money on Friday, falling only a pitiful Rs. 200 per tola and Rs. 171 per 10 kilos.According to information made available by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of gold was Rs142,400 per tola and Rs122,085 per 10 kilos.
In the last two days, the price of the yellow metal fell by Rs 3,000 per tola.It should be mentioned that the price of gold is currently below its actual cost. Compared to the price in Dubai, gold is Rs 5,000 less expensive per tola.
Bullion prices fell $19 per ounce to close at $1,752 on the global market as traders looked for indications of additional US Federal Reserve policy tightening.
In the meantime, today’s domestic market silver prices stayed constant at Rs1,540 per tola and Rs1,320.30 per 10 kilos.
