KARACHI: After postponing its planned Karachi jalsa for August 19, the PTI on Thursday unveiled its timetable for rallies across Pakistan. PTI leader Ali Zaidi announced at a press conference in the port city that the public gathering that was scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) in Karachi has been postponed due to the province-wide monsoon rains.
Despite the fact that all preparations were finished and the weather forecast was taken into consideration, he added, “The decision has been decided after consultations with party chairperson Imran Khan.”
According to the PTI’s itinerary, Imran Khan will speak to 17 jalsas from various cities. These rallies’ specifics are as follows:
Sunday, August 21 — Rawalpindi
Wednesday, August 24 — Haripur, Friday, August 26 — Karachi, and Saturday, August 27 — Sukkur
28 August (Sunday) — Peshawar
29 August (Monday) —Jhelum
31 August (Wednesday) — Attle
Sargodha on September 1; Gujrat on September 2; Bhawalpur on September 3; and Faisalabad on September 4 are the other cities in September.
Tuesday, September 6, Mardan; Wednesday, September 7, Bhawalnagar
Thursday, September 8 — Multan; Friday, September 9 — Sheikupura; Saturday, September 10 — Gujranwala
