NAROWAL: According to Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, the economy would strengthen in the next months as the value of the rupee versus the US dollar is quickly rebounding.
He told the reporters on Sunday in the tehsil Shakargarh, “The government’s top objective is to stabilise the country’s economy and all institutions are working on one platform to strengthen it.”
According to Mr. Iqbal, in order to comply with the constitution, the administration would serve out its full term.
“If we hold elections right away, there would be unrest in the nation for the following four months. The election will take three months, and the creation of the administration will take one month.
The new census procedure had begun, according to the federal minister, and it would be finished by February 2023. According to him, the procedure would be finished by August 2023 and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would need four months to create new constituencies based on the new census. According to him, all political parties, particularly those in the province of Sindh, believe that the future elections should be held in accordance with the results of the most recent census. He proclaimed that in order to meet constitutional duties, the federal government would serve out its term.
