From tomorrow, Sindh may see monsoon conditions, according to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz. According to him, the new system could cause Sindh, especially Karachi, to experience excessive rainfall.
According to him, between August 6 and August 9 Karachi could experience severe rainfall.
The forecast also calls for significant rainfall in Thatta, Badin, Sajawal, Umarkot, and Tharparkar.The chief meteorologist predicts rain will return to Karachi on August 11 and that the system may continue to affect the weather through August 15.
In addition to urban flooding in plain areas, like as major cities in Punjab, Sindh, and KP, heavy rains can also cause flash floods in mountainous areas of Punjab, AJK, and KP.Riverine floods are possible due to extreme hydro-meteorological events over catchments.
