Islamabad: The Federal Minister of Communications and Postal Services, Mr. Asad Mahmood, had crucial measures authorised by the National Highway Authority’s Executive Board Meeting. In light of the recent heavy rains and flooding around the nation, the NHA network’s current state was assessed during the 403rd Meeting of the Executive Board of the National Highway Authority, which was presided over by Chairman NHA Captain (R) Muhammad Khurram Agha. The rebuilding of the Hub Bridge, which connects Sindh and Balochistan, was approved by the NHA Executive Board, according to the information. It should be noted that the bridge on the Hub River collapsed yesterday due to heavy rains and floods. However, the traffic is continuing through the Hub Bypass.
The Hub Bypass project was also approved during the NHA Executive Board meeting. The people of Balochistan and Sindh will profit from the development of Hub Bridge and Hub Bypass. There will be immediate advantages as well as fresh chances for socioeconomic growth. On this occasion, Captain (R) Muhammad Khurram Agha, Chairman of the National Highway Authority, appealed for the rapid repair of the harm brought on by the rains and ensuing floods. Additionally, he gave orders to the NHA staff members who were on the ground to be ready for any situation. He stated that resuming traffic on the system of interstates and motorways during the rainy season is our top priority, and all available resources would be employed to accomplish this.
