Armed forces of Pakistan working in flood-affected areas on rescue and humanitarian efforts
RAWALPINDI: According to an ISPR press statement, Pakistan Army forces are helping the civil government with rescue and relief operations in regions affected by recent urban flooding in different parts of the nation. Teams from the Pakistan Army’s Emergency Response are constantly engaged dewatering damaged areas, providing basic food supplies, and providing medical assistance. In District Jamshoro, Gharo Grid Station, South Karachi, including Shahra e Faisal and Nipa Chowrangi, Lasbela, Turbat, and Quetta, Pakistan Army dewatering troops are providing flood relief.
Teams from the Pakistani Army set up relief camps with medical services and gave the locals the food and rations they needed. For relief efforts and to handle any emergency situations brought on by flooding, several standby and response teams are posted throughout Sindh and Balochistan. Numerous villagers in the villages of Jamshoro, Gharo, Kemari, and Nipa Chowrangi were given free medicines and relief supplies by Pakistan Army troops and mobile medical teams. Additionally, the medical team treated around 1500 patients in Baluchistan’s Quetta, Turbat, and Lasbella.
