RAWALPINDI: General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), gave a thorough analysis of the security situation during the 249th Corps Commanders’ Conference on Monday at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, placing particular focus on the border and internal security of the country.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations, COAS Gen. Bajwa praised the current, effective counterterrorism operations (ISPR).The officers and soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifices required to defend the country’s borders and the general public were lavishly commended by General Bajwa.
He also acknowledged the initiatives taken by aid agencies to ease the struggles endured by individuals impacted by the country’s floods and heavy rains.The conference emphasised the military’s dedication to offering full support to civil authorities during relief or restoration efforts.
