As Pakistan observes the first day of Eid ul Adha, the meteorological department has warned that a new system of monsoon winds will begin to blow into the nation starting today (Sunday).
The Met office predicts rain for all three days of Eid ul Adha in coastal Sindh, including Karachi, and Balochistan.
In various parts of Karachi, today there may be some drizzle or light rain.
In the meantime, most roads in the city have less standing water now that the recent heavy rains have passed.
How is the weather with the rain in the rest of Pakistan?
According to the Met department, Islamabad is experiencing cold winds, sparse sunshine, and a low temperature.
Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala division, Sukkur, and Jaffarabad are all expected to experience rain.
Quetta and other locations in Balochistan are still experiencing rain.
Four millimetres of rain were recorded in Quetta over the course of the previous day, while Panjgur saw a maximum of 15 millimetres. Muslim Bagh saw 9mm of rain, Barkhan saw 6mm, Turbat saw 3mm, and Giwani saw 2mm. Lasbela and Sibi experienced a little rain as well.
Thunderstorms are predicted for Quetta, Khuzdar, Kalat, Dalbandin, Muslim Bagh, Lasbela, and Panjgur, according to the meteorological department.
