ISLAMABAD: On the joyous occasion of Eid ul Adha, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Pakistanis and the Muslim Ummah and sent them his warmest wishes.
He claimed in his message for Eid that Allah made sacrifice an extraordinary ritual to express his admiration for Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail’s obedience (AS).
He claimed that imitating Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and his honourable son Hazrat Ismail (AS) will lead to salvation, and he added that Muslims can fulfil their Eid duty by providing aid to the needy, widows, and orphans.
During Eid ul Adha, he urged Pakistanis to pay special attention to helping their brothers and sisters who are struggling.
“We should share the joy of Eid with the less fortunate people nearby who are impacted by the wave of global inflation, “said he.
In addition, we ought to fully assist those who have been impacted by the recent rains and floods. We owe it to them to be there for them and feel their pain “said he.
He claimed that the significance of sacrifice during Eid can teach the younger generation a lot.
The PM urged the youth to set a good example for tolerance, endurance, selflessness, and sacrifice in their communities.
