Fawad Chaudhry, the leader of the PTI, stated on Wednesday that his party is prepared for a “grand dialogue,” but that it will only participate if an election date is declared.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Fawad warned that if the government kept taking these actions one after the other, the country’s democracy might be in jeopardy.
“A new scandal involving this government is revealed every other day. There is a solar scandal that needs to be looked into, according to the PTI leader.
The former minister of information alleged that not a single corruption case had been brought against any of the PTI-led government’s ministers.
“The Sindh government was responsible for what happened to Captain (ret) Safdar during our administration. In Sindh, two journalists were killed, and cases against politicians have been filed. They want political issues resolved, but the election date ought to be announced first, the PTI leader said.
Fawad poked fun at Marriyum Aurangzeb, his predecessor, by saying that the current information minister ought to respond because her husband is an Australian citizen and the tobacco industry’s representative in Pakistan.
Because of what Marriyum’s lobby claimed, according to Fawad, the tobacco industry received billions of rupees. Adding that because of her lobbying, foreign companies were given concessions.
Now, the tobacco industry has received billions of rupees in tax breaks thanks to the lobbying of Ali Tareen and Marriyum Aurangzeb, claimed Fawad.
Shireen Mazari, on the other hand, asserted that those with the people’s support should be in charge of the grand dialogue.
Asserting that lawlessness is at its height during the current administration, Mazari claimed that there is no opposition in the parliament and that the largest political party in the nation is located outside of it.
“If you want to declare martial law, say so out loud. The former human rights minister claimed, “Our cars are pulled over everywhere we go, and people are kidnapped.
