The actress uploaded a piece of music from the movie along with a note explaining how she handled losing a project she put a lot of work into.
Actress Yasra Rizvi spoke candidly about the cancellation of her movie SentiAurMental, and her frankness provided life lessons. Although the 39-year-old actor acknowledges the financial loss along with everyone’s efforts, especially her own as the film’s writer and director, she feels that her loss is actually her biggest asset in her journey towards her personal goals to be genuine and real.
Rizvi posted a song from the movie Tera Hashtag Ni to Instagram on Friday, resharing some leftovers from the abandoned project. She wrote, “I lost a lot of money and hard work shelving this venture probably because it wasn’t good enough work or maybe I evolved during all the waiting but, to be honest, it didn’t upset me as much as one would imagine.” When asked how the decision to keep the film as drought-affected her personally, she responded, “It didn’t upset me as much as one would imagine.”
She continued by saying that for her, daily efforts to improve one’s connection with oneself are what matter. “I still get out of bed, dress up (okay, I wear clothes), and go to work every day trying to be ME. The Churails actor remarked that she was “broken and defeated” and posed the question, “What’s better than becoming more YOU in the process?” “Her greatest asset is herself because that is what motivates her to continue thriving at her own pace.
Accepting that failures and setbacks are a natural part of life is another lesson to be learned from Rizvi’s book. She argued that since we will all pass away at some point, no one should let inescapable setbacks prevent them from living their best lives while they are still alive. “I mean, really, what have you got to lose? In the course of my life, I have experienced many losses followed by additional losses. What’s the problem if I gained it here and lost it here as well? We all have to pass away in the end. So lead a scandalous life and never second-guess following your heart! Simply go for it!
