At The Pop Out – Ken & Friends concert at the Kia Forum, Kendrick Lamar delighted the audience.
Dr. Dre, Ty Dolla $ign, and Roddy Ricch all performed at the event on Wednesday. The group photo was also taken, and Kendrick Lamar said, “This is unity, y’all just don’t know man.”
During the performance of his diss single Not Like Us, which was directed towards the Canadian rapper, Lamar revived his long-running dispute with Drake, a musician who was born in Toronto.
Lamar gave five performances of his diss tune, seemingly a sign that the two rappers’ animosity is still very much present.
With Lamar’s May release of Not Like Us, the feud—which has seen both musicians trade several diss tracks over the years—recently heated up.
Serious charges against Drake are made throughout the song, which the rapper did not hold back in bringing up during the performance.
“Y’all ain’t gonna let nobody disrespect the West Coast, huh?” Following his electrifying performance, Lamar exclaimed.
Lamar also opened the show with a new diss tune called Euphoria, which had lyrics that took aim at the One Dance hitmaker.
