According to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the budget has allocated a substantial sum of nine hundred fifty-six billion rupees towards the development of the state.
Speaking at a news conference following the budget today in Karachi, he said that the minimum salary has been raised to 37,000 rupees and that government employees in the province, ranging from grade 1 to 6, would follow the same method to close the pay gap and establish their starting pay from 37,000 rupees.
According to him, the provincial budget includes increases in wages of thirty percent for grades 1 through 6, twenty-five percent for grades 7 through 16, and twenty-two percent for grades 17 through 22.
