Pakistan confirmed almost 800 cases on Saturday, the greatest daily rise in over four months, as the nationwide positive rate jumped to 4.47 percent.
The National Institute of Health (NIH) recorded 818 instances in the prior 24 hours, up from 694 the day before. The figure is the highest since March 3, when the nation had 953 infections in a single day.
Positive sentiment increased to 4.47 percent from 3.93 percent yesterday. The NIH statistics also revealed that 18,305 tests were performed across the country in the previous 24 hours, with 126 individuals in critical care. During this time, four people died as a result of the lethal virus.
