How much money will Babar, Shaheen, and Rizwan make under the new PCB contract?
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the highly anticipated central contracts on Wednesday, and Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan all received significant 202% raises in their monthly salaries.
The agreement, which ends a four-month impasse between the PCB and the players, allows the players to share in the International Cricket Council (ICC) dividend for the first time.
The PCB announced in a statement that it has “successfully negotiated” a three-year central contact arrangement with its top players, which will run from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2026.

Imad Wasim and Abdullah Shafique are in Category C and get paid Rs1.5 million, whereas Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan are in Category B.
