GUJRANWALA: A 10-year-old child killed his mother in Satellite town on Wednesday out of “honour.”
According to the police, the child approached the deceased as she was going down the street wearing a robe and opened fire, killing her instantly and wounded a passing woman. The dead had petitioned the court to declare her marriage to the boy’s father, according to the police. The police officers were also shot at by the child, but they were unharmed.
After detaining the youngster and finding the firearm, the police opened an inquiry into the event.The injured woman was taken to a hospital in the interim for medical attention.
