Ranveer Singh plays two roles in Rohit Shetty’s next film “Cirkus,” which appears to be a promising comedy.
There isn’t a part that Ranveer Singh hasn’t done credit to, whether it is a warrior, a passionate lover, a rascal, a social worker, or a marriage planner. Despite the fact that we have been watching him in some very serious roles for a while now, Rohit Shetty has finally debuted the actor in a role that has never been seen before with his upcoming movie Cirkus.
In the film’s Friday-released trailer, Singh plays two parts in a 1960s carnival-like atmosphere. The video, which is about four minutes long, features a variety of gorgeous settings, vibrant costumes, trapeze acts, large circus tents, and performers demonstrating their skills on stage.
When Singh is introduced in his dual roles as an electric man and a businessman who is frequently mistaken for the other, the fun really starts. Singh is mistaken for his other identity throughout, getting into difficulties on train rides, with partners, in front of their families, and more.
Cirkus features well-known characters from the world of comedy created by Shetty, including Johnny Lever and Murali Sharma from the Chennai Express and Golmaal franchises. With the focus not only on the leads Singh, Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Pooja Hegde, but also on the supporting character actors like Lever, Siddharth Jadhav, Tiku Talsania, Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Patkar, Ashwinin Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, and Vrajesh Hirjee, the trailer introduces a number of characters in their natural habitat.
The movie appears to be a promising entertainer with catchy music, humour, punch lines, romance, intrigue, and a vibrant-looking ensemble cast.
Cirkus is slated for a December 23, 2022, global theatre release. It was inspired by Gulzar-Sanjeev Kumar’s Angoor, a Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors adaption.
