In the Lakki Marwat region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), an unknown group of gunmen opened fire on a police van on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of at least six members of the police force.
Terrorists opened fire on a police vehicle driven by Chowki Abbasi in Lakki Marwat when it was out on a normal patrol, and the van came under attack.
Chowki Abbasi’s police vehicle, which had been out on a normal patrol when the terrorists opened fire, is where the incident took place, according to the spokesperson for the police department.
ASI Alam Deen and five constables named Parvez, Mahmood, Dil Jan, Ubaidullah Ahmed, and Nawaz were among those who were executed as martyrs.
Following the occurrence, more police officers were sent to the surrounding region.
Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, issued a vehement condemnation of the terrorist assault on the police vehicle. He also paid respect to the officers who had lost their lives in the incident and said that the police had performed a “proud role as the vanguard against terrorism”
