Aamir Khan says he will be taking a break from acting in order to spend more time with his family and friends
Aamir Khan makes his acting hiatus announcement. His most recent film, Laal Singh Chaddha, had poor box office results. He recently told a group of people in Delhi that he is taking a break from performing.
In response to a question regarding his break, Aamir Khan stated, “As an actor, I get so engrossed in a film that nothing else happens in my life.” After Laal Singh Chaddha, I was meant to star in a movie called Champions. This uplifting and nice movie has a fantastic script and a good story. But I feel like I need a break and want to spend time with my mom, my kids, and my family. He continued by stating that this would be his first break in a 35-year career.
“I feel like I’ve been working for 35 years, single-mindedly concentrating on my work,” he continued. People close to me don’t seem to be treated fairly, in my opinion. I feel like I need to take a break now to be with them and genuinely live a new kind of life. I am eager for the upcoming year, which will be my last as an actor and a half.
During his 35-year acting career, the actor said that this is the very first time that he has ever taken a vacation from performing on stage. He said, “I have the impression that I have been working for the last 35 years, during which time I have concentrated entirely on my job. It just doesn’t seem right to me to do that to the ones who are closest to me.
At this point in time, I believe that it is necessary for me to take some time off in order to be with them and to genuinely experience life in a new manner. I am quite excited about the next year to year and a half during which I will not be working as an actor.”
The most recent film to be released by Aamir Khan, Laal Singh Chaddha, has been the focus of a campaign on Twitter to boycott the film. After a portion of the internet uncovered Aamir Khan’s interview comments from 2015, in which he said that his ex-filmmaker wife Kiran Rao had urged that they leave countries due to “rising intolerance,” a trend of people started to boycott the film. A disappointing amount of money was made by the movie at the box office.
