FAISALABAD: The PTI’s secretary-general Asad Umar stated on Tuesday that all of Pakistan’s preparatory goals had been met as the long march continued in Punjab.The former federal minister claimed, in a statement to journalists in Faisalabad, that the government is “very scared” and is delaying holding elections out of concern that PTI will win.
“The government is quite frightened. Not fearful of anyone besides its own country, “He continued by saying that elections should be held if the administration believes in democracy.He stated during the press conference that “they know that the Pakistan Democratic Movement will end if elections go place.”
The PTI chairman criticised Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah for frequently holding press conferences and said: “How many press conferences do they have following the hiring of police from every province? Rana Sanaullah has a haughty demeanour but has failed to succeed as interior minister.”
