In response to the PTI’s ongoing Haqeeqi Azadi March, former prime minister and PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif posted on Twitter on Monday that he had instructed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif not to “face-save” Imran Khan or pay attention to his demands, whether he brought 2,000 or 20,000 people to Islamabad.
Nawaz posted on the Twitter, “Those who used to claim to bring 1 million people [to the federal capital for the long march] has not been able to deliver 2,000 persons.”
“Imran lied so flagrantly that the DG ISI had to speak up and inform the country of the truth. Even though so many days have passed, he [the PTI chairman] has not been able to reply [to the DG ISI]. He is currently devoting all of his energy to his habit of cussing, “Added he.
Nawaz said, “I have advised PM Shehbaz that his demands should not be met and he should not be given any “face-saving” whether Imran Khan sends a “riot” of 2,000 or 20,000 people.”
After Imran Khan finally proclaimed the start of a new movement on October 28 to pressure the current administration to call early elections, political unrest in the nation has increased.
Days after PM Shehbaz established a federal-level committee to hold negotiations with the PTI in light of the party’s ongoing Azadi March, Nawaz made his declaration.
The nine-member group, which is led by Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, will discuss politics and the PTI march while concentrating on upholding law and order.
