Sadaf Naeem, a reporter for a local TV station, tragically perished on Sunday after being crushed by Imran Khan, chairman of the PTIcontainer.
The incident happened close to Sadhoke while the female reporter was covering PTI’s long march caravan on her way to Islamabad. She was shoved, fell to the ground, and was then run over by the truck.
Additionally, one individual was critically hurt in the event.

The female reporter was injured on the field and later died. Her body was taken to a nearby hospital for an autopsy.
Following the incident, the PTI leadership ordered the workers to remain away from the container and stopped the lengthy march caravan.
Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, who was aboard the container, expressed his profound sorrow and anguish over the occurrence.
Meanwhile, Liaqat Ali, a police constable, reportedly passed away from a heart attack while on duty during the long march. He is survived by three daughters and a son, according to local media reports.
Also expressing regret over the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said he was “very pained by the death of reporter Sadaf Naeem after falling from a long march container.”
“Our deepest sympathies to the family. A vibrant and dedicated reporter, Sadaf Naeem. We ask for patience for the deceased’s family, he added in a tweet.
Additionally, PM Shehbaz announced compensation for the late reporter’s family in the amount of Rs 5 million. The prime minister gave the appropriate authorities the order to “quickly” finish the legal procedure and give the family the check.
Later, the premier called the late Sadaf Naeem’s husband and expressed his condolences to the grieving family.
“There is no way to make up for a life lost. The prime minister gave the journalist’s spouse the reassurance that his family will receive all the care and assistance they could possibly need.
Arif Alvi, the president, expressed grief at the journalist’s passing and sympathy to the bereaved family.
In a statement, the president expressed his condolences to the family during this difficult time.
Pervaiz Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab, expressed his sorrow at the loss of the female reporter and said he was heartbroken by the occurrence.
“May Allah give the grieving family patience. In their hour of sorrow, the deceased family is sent my sincere sympathies, he remarked in a tweet.
He also disclosed Rs 2.5 million in financial support for the journalist’s family.
“The late Sadaf’s family would receive the best care possible from the Punjab administration. It’s incredibly heartbreaking that she died in the accident. The awful occurrence saddens everyone’s heart, the CM wrote in a tweet from his Twitter account.
Journalist Yusra Askari tweeted, “Thoughts and prayers with Sadaf’s family — may they find strength, in some way.
Offering her condolences to the bereaved family, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said: “I am profoundly pained to learn about the loss of a precious life of a TV reporter Sadaf in the line of duty. My thoughts are with the bereaved family. May she rest in peace forever. Ameen.”
“I just found out about the terrible and awful accident that killed reporter Sadaf Naeem during our March. Some of us learned about the accident after Kamoke since we were far ahead of her. An unfortunate loss of life. Shireen Mazari, the head of the PTI, stated that “no words can ever adequately reflect the depth of sorrow to the dead family.”
“Reporters are paid a tiny fee by media organisations and are the first to suffer in any occurrence,” stated journalist Iftikhar Firdous in response to the murder.
Sherry Rehman, the minister of the environment, expressed her “horror and regret” at learning of the reporter’s untimely loss. She apparently dropped off IK’s container. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this dreadful time of grief and bereavement, she continued.
Sadaf Sahiba’s death on Channel 5 was a terrible tragedy. terribly sad. She was a committed journalist who lost her life while performing her job. Shafqat Mehmood, the PTI leader, remarked, “May her soul rest in peace”.
