The event’s proceeds will support vulnerable women.
Given that she will be speaking at a significant charity event next month, Meghan Markle has a busy schedule ahead of her.
The Power of Women: An Evening With Meghan is a magnificent dinner where the Duchess of Sussex will be the center of attention.
The event will take place at the Marriot Downtown Hotel in Indianapolis on November 29. The 41-year-old will attend alongside Rabbi Sandy Sasso, the first woman ordained by Reconstructionist Judaism.
“Women’s Fund is proud to welcome Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, to Indianapolis”, the event’s online description states.
As a feminist, mother, and supporter of human rights, the Duchess is a powerful force. Her advocacy for women and girls spans her entire life and is a recurring theme in both her charitable and commercial endeavors.
Rabbi Sandy Sasso, a well-known author, and figure in the community, will moderate the discussion that evening. She is the first woman to be ordained as a rabbi by the Reconstructionist movement, who formerly worked at Beth-El Zedeck in Indianapolis.
A table at the event has already sold for nearly $5,000 (about £4,400), and the money will benefit the community foundation Women’s Fund, which seeks to empower women who are weak, encounter discrimination, or struggle in their careers.
For the opulent occasion, there are rigorous regulations in place, and photography and recording are not permitted.
At this time, it is unknown if Prince Harry will also be present.
