The cast for the impending Carry-on Netflix film has been made public, and it is confirmed to be in development.
Jaume Collet-Serra, a director for Black Adams, will direct Carry-on, which will be produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment.
The movie was first revealed in June 2022, according to Collider, and as time goes on, more details are becoming available.
The film’s star will be Taron Egerton whose recent projects include Black Bird, Rocketman, and The Kingsman.
The other actors in the cast are Tonatiuh (Angelyne, Promised Land), Joe Williamson (Black Bird), Gil Perez-Abraham (The Batman), Curtiss Cook (West Side Story), Danielle Deadwyler (The Harder They Fall), Logan Marshall-Green (Lou), Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), Sinqua Walls (White Men Can’t Jump, Nanny), Sofia Carson (Purple Hearts), Danielle Deadwyler (The (True Story).
According to Netflix, the plot revolves around Ethan Kopek, a young TSA agent who is blackmailed by an enigmatic traveler to allow a dangerous cargo to get through security and onto an aircraft on Christmas Day.
Starting on September 26, 2022, filming is anticipated to go until December 16, 2022.
Cleveland, Ohio, and New Orleans, Louisiana, are the locations for the filming.
The movie is anticipated to hit theatres in late 2023 or early 2024, though no exact date has been set.
