Did you know that the first known queen of Pakistan lived about 3,000 BC? It has an age of nearly 5,500 years. However, we are not treating the queen very well, and it is our responsibility because of the serious damage caused by the recent torrential rain that even nature does not want this queen to continue living among us. Mohenjo Daro is the topic at hand; it is regarded as the world’s foremost heritage site.
The 5,500-year-old Mohenjo Daro is a world heritage site. Since no other evidence of a civilization’s capacity for planning and administration has been uncovered in any archaeological findings around the globe, it is known as the “queen site.”The monsoon rains that fell in Sindh in July and were followed by flooding are still having a significant negative impact on Mohenjo Daro. However, the cultural site’s current state of decline cannot be solely attributed to a natural disaster. Geo News teams recently travelled to Mohenjo Daro to investigate what happened and evaluate the damage.
