The Pakistani rupee maintained its stability on Thursday, the fourth working day of the week, after regaining ground versus the US dollar in the inter bank market.
Details indicate that the local currency increased by Rs 2 in relation to the dollar, which closed at Rs 221.94. The rupee had a Wednesday closing value of Rs223.94 according to statistics from Pakistan’s central bank.
The rupee has regained a total of Rs18 from its record high of Rs239.94 thanks to the most recent advances.
Dar, who took over for Miftah Ismail as finance minister, said that the true worth of the Pakistani rupee is less than 200 against the US dollar and that the government is working together to lower the value of the dollar relative to the local unit of exchange.
